Anyway here is the "final" concept, not much different from the previously posted. (yes those are blades on the wings!)
And here is the start of the model.
Small update:
You could make a cool implant at the cut off arm. Like a drill or a sword weapon.
in fact, i actually liked him a lot more before this last update.
teeth could be bigger. little more needle-like than i would assume a critter like him having.
wings could use some more muscle mass to match the rest of him and make it a wee bit more believable.
all in all a pretty badass model. i really like those wireframe shots you've got.
I really like the veins so im going to keep them. But will definately buff up the teeth and the wings as you suggested
