I played fifa street the other day and loved the level design so i decided to make a level in max i already have 1 building down:

it needs an ambient occlusion map pn it for the shadows on the boards

i would start by blocking out the level first before doing any prop , plan ahead

looking good the wip , but needs something more to make it interesting.

already have a ton of plans on paper might need to block it out in max though your right, this building will have other things attached to it including a big hotdog man mascot :P its located on the beach.

cool start, I'd say the scale looks off to me for the first go... the garage door doesn't seem to be big enough, like it might be half sized, I can't really tell if it's a two story or one story building, by the overhang and I assume thats a door I would assume it's a one story, but if that's a garage door it looks to be a 2 plus story building. It says "car repair" so I'm assuming it's a garage, once those are adjusted then look to adjusting the exhaust on the roof.

hey thanks for the crit im reworking the texture a little and its a one story hot dog/beverage building once i put the props on it you'll see what i mean right now its just a basic shape

started the second building, i just want to note that im going to take johnys advice and block it out first so most of the buildings will be very basic. once i add the detail it will look much nicer

right now im just messin aorund with the lighting

The colours certainly match FIFA Street, but your style is a bit plain. The artistic vision for the game was 'wonkified' like in the animated movie 'Cars'. As such, your buildings are too straight, and need some of the vertical lines tuned to be less vertical.

Having looked at fs3 assets i've got to say that's a pretty close recreation.. Keep at it, it's looking good..

thats alright, anyways once i get back from work ill try to finish up the 4 other buildings and put them into a little scene
