maya render weirdness

i was checking a few camera angles at different points in my student film a couple minutes ago, and for some reason every time i do a hardware render my time slider runs through about 700 frames and gives me this result

there's about 2-3 different frames overlay'd there...

You probably hit the "Make Art" Button.

I'd say first doublecheck your renderglobals for both common settings and maya hardware settings, and see about anything mentioning multiple frames.

I wish I could be more helpful, but I haven't been able to use hardware render till very recently.
