PolyDraw in PolyBoost for retopology - how?

I'm trying to figure out the basics of retopology. I've heard PolyDraw mentioned, from the 3ds Max PolyBoost plugin. I can't quite get it to work though. I'd like to just draw a cage on top of a mesh without too much hassle, but I seem to be pressing the wrong buttons in the PolyDraw window... Draw on Selection... Surface...PolyTopo... PolySurf.. Build... Connect. I'd like to check out the Tims Script as well... also vague...
