Hugo SFIII

I was inspired to make a 3d version of Hugo from Street Fighter III today after watching some youtube videos. I'll be making him the old school way; target is wii specs.

Still very rough but I plan to make him fully animated (hair, face, chain, clothes, etc.), and test out some brdf shader on him.

In the drawing his legs are quite small/stumpy in relation to his torso, which is pretty huge, with a large head too.
Acord, his hair will be the piece de resistance!
OK, fixed the proportions, I'm going around the mesh now and smoothing out areas. Just have the hands, wrist/ankle cuffs, hair, and chain left to block out and finish.

here are some color ideas.
for some reason your darkest purples were inconsistent in saturation. they were more saturated then your midtones, and less saturated then the highlight. so i felt either mids need more sat - or darks less sat -- i went with the latter. as the darks generally also get more blue moving away from light, i pushed the darkest tones purely blueer as they got closer to the light.
EDIT: in photoshop, maybe an easier way to handle these parameters is setting the color sliders to HSB rather than RGB, as well as 'Current colors' rather than Spectrum.
