I'm a huge transformers nut and was a bit

(especially at first) that the TFs in the movie looked so little like they used to.

So I tried my best to get two fan favourites done in a respectful, yet updated manner.

Also working with torquato on a body for Shockers' head.

They're just paintings. I'm currently working on a body for Shockwave but it will take some time before I can show it here.

notman: Sorry, I'm not working on the TF movie. It was always one of those properties I wanted to work on but others were quicker.

I'm working on a Shockers body but not in a front post as it else would look quite boring.

I might do a complete Soundwave from the front though as simple character sheet, maybe then someone will wanna model it. The only thing that didn't make me do it was that i can't be arsed to think about an ultra-complex transformation sequence. *shame*

I always planned to learn to model but I was always too busy or lazy.

And I'm happy that you thought these were 3d sculpts as I heard from two others that the paintings looked rather flat and "lifeless".

And Per, that was probably my favorite TF comic cover... for its time and compared to the art quality inside the comics it was inhumanly cool for a 10 year old

Looking at your shocky, looks like he transforms into a tank of some kind. Have you come up with an alt mode for him, and a vague idea of the transform scheme?
