modelling inside of mouth help

working on a 4-5k tri model using max and would like to (eventually)have some facial animation.
I want to include a basic mouth with teeth.
The teeth will be basic planes that i will alpha.
below are pics of my wip,the teeth are single sided planes but for the renders i have enabled 2sided to show.
Would appreciate any advice.

I have kept all of the model in quads (for creating normal using zbrush) but the inside of mouth will not be zbrushed just a basic deep read colour to add depth.
The inside of mouth will attach to lips(not shown)

    4-5K budget should mean you won't need so many polygons in the teeth themselves. Spend them elsewhere, unless you want to extrude some molars. To be honest, you'll probably not see so far into the mouth.

    Make sure you have at least one entire edgeloop INSIDE the mouth to get soft shapes when animating.
