Is it just me or is this the year of the babies?!

Damn there have been a lot of anounced pregnancies and children being born. Not only on here, but I have a number of friends getting preggo and giving birth. What's the deal here? Is the year of the Golden Pig just nullifying anti-pregnancy measures everywhere? Making people feel ready for babies? Anyone else wondering whats up with this!?

I have my wife in a holding pattern for at least one year before she will really start wanting one. I have time lines and a list of reasons to wait a mile long so not to be off my guard when she asks when we are having one. So id say i can keep from having a kid for two years maybe a little bit more...maybe

Yeah, it's not just Polycount..seems to be a lot of people I know as well. Not just that, babies and pregnancy seem to be all over tv and stuff as well...but it's possible that I could be paying more attention to it as "everyone i know is having babies."

Actually I was thinking the same thing just the other day. I know someone who had a baby just a few months ago, someone who's due in a month and someone who's due in like 6-7 months.
