Haha, that panda is sweet.
I was going to start an animation thread when I saw the other guys thread too!
Anyways heres my final animation I produced for my 1st year of a games course at university.

sorry to go a bit o/t, but whats a good program for converting .mov and or .avi to .gif? I've got a few hand drawn pieces i'd like to put up.

I made this for a class a little while back. Actual production time was about 4 months on my own so I kinda ran short on time.
It's a CG short.

Mike F, you can use a program like Adobe After Effects or Premiere to convert .mov to .gif. But I'm sure there are others out there too.
