Uh girl WIP

Hi .. first time posting or posting any where. This is my first character model I worked on. I started about 4 days ago on my spare time off of work.

She is 8490 triangles right now. I need to work on some straps / boots / gloves still. A visor for a helmet.

Hope to hear comments.

By the look of this you know what you are doing, nice stuff. The asian features are great.

Yeah and wires etc would be nice.

Try to get some renders up without the black background. It's hard to see the sillouette on her with a black backround. And don't do a white background either.

Thanks for the comment about improving how I should present my renders. I didn't get a chance to fully use the information there. About 2:30AM my time, need get up early I work a morning shift at work.

Yeah I did the vector wireframe, and I forgot to combine, duplicate the shoe for those renders.

I still need to make the visor, and some buttons on the model and the alpha for some parts of the visor.

Her legs might need to be a little more defined, like around her knee area and the back of her knee. And I also noticed that her eyes look like planes...are they planes or spheres? Delete the polygons where her eyeballs should go and stick in some spheres, because it's way easier to rig eyes when they are spheres.

Other than those couple things I noticed, it seems to be looking great. I can't wait to see how this character turns out.

Hi, I haven't worked on my model much. But I did 45 min texture go over on the face as a test. Nothing but a color map on a lambert so far.

idk about that, i think it could work depending how the rest of his textures look.

Well I can do both but sometimes I like the final outcome with photosourced textures. The photo source texture I used wasn't the reference I used for the model. I just took someone where I liked the skin color and used that for my model.

I'll be painting the armor, just for the skin I wanted to use a photosource.

Ah thanks for the help, I didn't really bother looking at a reference for the shoes yet I just knew I was going to do a type of shoe like that.
