Short answer: No. You can not drag Quake3 players into a Quake4 folder and have them magically work. New game, new formats, new features, new models.
Long answer: Yes BUT, only if you painstakingly convert them. I'm pretty sure no one is interested in doing that for you. The Quake4 SDK is a good place to start learning. *Polycount helps those who help themselves.
*(helping yourself to free models doesn't count as helping yourself)

And for your information... There are some Quake 3 models that have been converted to q4 and are available for free download.. and what in God's name is wrong with wanting something for freee???? My goodness.. you guys need to Chill out... Just asked a freaking simple question!!!
