I've been looking for a good 3d solution for a while now. I know there is something "wrong" about 3dsmax, even though I've been using it since forever.
A nice touch in cinema 4d is that it shows you the hierarchy inline, instead of opening a new window, it's always there. also you can have multiple documents open and copy / paste between them. Also, lots of welcome time saving buttons that make sense.
Some minus points are that it doesn't really support wacom tablets, and some of the export tools are fucked. I guess there's not enough beta testers on this one.
Basically, it's easy to use.
