I have organized a small workshop for my school!!! Here are the details. sorry for the late notice, but I didnt think to post a thread about it on here.

You guys come in and park on the first floor in visitors parking. Then walk around to the back of the building and go into the huge entrance. Then go to the 5th floor and follow the signs to the workshop location!!! I will be there at 10 to set up everything!!!!

Fakker, I just finished writin' up my post on this... hahaha... This'll be a good excuse to get together with some more Dallas polycounters... I'm pretty excited for it... I plan on stealing all of Rawkstars secrets just in time for the Dom War 2!!!!

I had a lot of fun... Mangled Poly and Artems environment demo was great. I'd never met Artem before... Very cool guy and knew his shit. Marc Holmes demos are always entertaining... he gave a quick overview about designing for games and did a bit of Photoshop painting. V and I were planning a little visual jazz but I was struggling a bit with the machine I was on so I mostly talked about normal mapping basics while V showed off some mudbox. I know they filmed it but it looked like it was on tiny tapes so it'll probably need transfered to a digital format. Thanks Tony for setting it up:)

i thought it was pretty cool, i really wish we had more time, i kind of envisioned it as sort of a smallish jam out session, but there was definitely no time for any of that, so we just ended up talking and showing off some tricks and giving out tips and what not. maybe next time we could do soemthing that'll last for a few days, maybe split things up into 3d and 2d, there's alot of things we can do and get this workshop thing off the ground and make it really cool.

I had tons of fun doing it! We like the other groups got time screwed... I know the next one they plan on giving us a ton more time to present/work. Did not get nearly as much done as I had hoped... The room was fairly small but packed out to about 75 people... Some even ended up standing around walls to see the workshop!!
