  I think more people should check out Fellini's movies. Especially films like Satryicon and Casanova. They have some the most interesting characters in them.

  you know... I thought fellini as well with those pics, simply because of how all-over-the place the screens were. never saw 8 1/2, but it's supposed to be one of his best... I loved La Strada though.

  You know 8 1/2 was a very good film, although I wouldn't call it his best, It probably is one of his more harder to watch films though. I actually had to watch it a second time in a row to catch all the things in it. The movie has a tendency to drift in and out seamlessly of the main character's day dream sequences. Half the time you are unsure if he is day dreaming or not. Which I guess was what Fellini was going for.
  However I enjoyed Casanova and La Dolce Vita much more than 8 1/2. I am so pissed that there isn't a Region 1 dvd of casanova out.
