display problem

I have a geforce 7300 LE and when I turn on dx display in 3dsmax , everything has a blue tinge to it
The normal maps other wise display correctly
I have intsalled all the latest drivers
Anyone had this before

Yeah. I think I solved it by adding a white bitmap to the diffuse slot. But this was max 7 I think.

yeah tried ading a diffuse , but still no joy

mm, it's at work so i can't , but basically if I turn on the directx button thingy any object turns bluey, whether its got a normal map or not

I am presuming that its a graphics card thing

You're not using the MetalBump shader are you? Are you using DX Display of Std Mat? What's your diffuse set to?

You could try setting the Ambient slot of all materials to black, and the Diffuse slot to white... probably won't work though, that sounds like a weird bug.

I have never had this problem on any other computer, so it must be the drivers or summat.
Really frustrating.
Yeah tried all the things mentioned,I will chat to our tech guy next week, cheers
