Why isn't there a IMDB for Games?

I know IMDB has games as well, but they don't focus on this, nor do they have a good system for the crews unlike for movies.

Would you like to see one? I mean because you could have a public accessible area that people could cross reference you to projects versus your lone resumes and webpages.

How does moby games keep going ? I mean it's a great resource for pros as it keeps fairly accurate accounts of the games you've worked on but how does it keep running ?

Mobygames is so freakin inaccurate and incomplete it makes me laugh everytime I see it.

yeah but mobygames is user submitted like wikipedia.

I once tried to submit a game that wasn't listed but they rejected my submission because I didn't write enough about the game. pathetic.

If you submit information on games to IMDB there will be. I was wanting to check if it was BSG's Helo in NFS Carbon the other day, and sure enough his roles list includes Darius. I reckon the inclusion of enough games titles will force the addition of the category of games:
