Mirroring Physique?

is there any way to mirror your physique weights in max? having to switch from side to side, to keep inputting weights after i find out that it deforms nasty etc. isnt a lot of fun...

the only way I know of is to use skin - and the mirror in that is pretty dodgy too.

actually, i've found a mirroring script that works pretty well =D

Do you have to use Physique?

I'm asking because if you don't, using Skin is a much much better solution. Physique isn't really supported anymore and all of the new features have been pumped into Skin.

I would consider the switch if you can.

Really. Unless you have a very good reason, drop physique now and switch to skin.

i've been using skin for a very very long time. i just figured it would be useful to know how to do each type of rigging.

hehe, the one thing i have noticed, is that twisting joints, like wrists, have better deformation in physique.
