I think lowtax handled it very well until he realized that Uwe Boll wasn't fucking around.

It's lowtax's fault. Wouldn't he understand that if someone challenges a bunch of people to boxing matches, they probably know how to box. He went in cocky and got his ass beat. I wish I could box Uwe

I thought it was brilliant. I don't like Uwe's movies either, but challenging critics to a boxing match takes a sense of humor at the very least. He must not take himself quite so seriously as we thought he does. It's highly unlikely Uwe thinks a semi-pro boxer beating up a geek is really going to help bitter wounds heal, he just knows a good stunt when he sees one ... and to their credit, so do the critics that Uwe pummeled like LEETLE FAERIE BEETCHES! KICK THEIR ASSES, UWE!!

Let's not kid ourselves. The only reason Uwe did this was because he wanted to punch some critics. I don't buy the "oh this is just a hilarious publicity stunt, he's great for thinking this up" comments I've been seeing for a second. He's jaded at critics, he wants to punch some internet nerds.

Erm ... how is punching critics not a publicity stunt? Do his intentions have to be completely pure for you to accept the event as declared? Whatever his interest in beating up critics, we're not going to soon forget the beating as administered. The footage is sucking tons of bandwidth, and both the idea and outcome have been widely covered in print and on the net, in the games and movie press and beyond. And this isn't a publicity stunt that he's really smart for having thought up? How high IS that bar to you?!

i wish the journalists would have gotten off their asses and trained a little, and at least shown an *ounce* of a fucking backbone in the ring.

The two videos i've seen make me cringe and wonder when you're going to read the crying of how some pussy critic got beat up, so he can go cry about it on the internet.

They knew what they were getting into, wish they had a little more self respect to actually stand up for themselves and put on a good show as opposed to running and diving like bitches. The quotes of "he was really out to beat my ass!" or whatever are just stupid; its boxing... ugh. They didnt have to go in and go all Ali on them, but at least stand up for themselves and back up their poor reviews.

I dont like his movies either, and it would have been funny to see some guy come out of the blue who'd worked up some skill and knocked his ass out. too bad all those journalists let us down.
