  thanks KDR. Took your advice.
  Taur is constructed, still under the limit by 230 polygons. I may add some to the face to give it more character. Not too much time left though

  Yeah, the face could definately do with a bit more detail. But its coming along great. Finish finish finish!

  Thanks. I wanted to be sure I had enough polys for the whole thing before going into details.
  Detailed the face, and the body, still was under the count, then realized I forgot the tail. Built that, and it hit 1024 exactly.. then I realized I had the belt hidden, so I had to cull some body detail to give back the room I needed.
  Right now its 1022, and not getting any higher.
  
  
  edit: I think Im going to inflate the head a bit. It looks even better that way.
