(Hopefully this isn't posted elsewhere).

The reuslts are in and it looks like rockstar and mrKite took the show. Really glad to see so many awesome results from this contest and can't wait for the next one. My favourite part of the results page are all the things other artists from the industry had to say when judging this contest - turned out really, really awesome. The big cheese here and at CGChat did a great job running this, glad it went off so well.

No offence to anyone else, but I felt Cholden & JJ should have placed. To me, their entry epitomized the whole idea of General... besides, the 'bitches' were a brilliant touch!

Congrats on all that entered, I regret my being too busy to enter quite badly. Is this war going to become a more regular thing? It'd be awesome to see the two forums battle it out across different settings once a year or so.

Congrats Rockstar... I agree with that choice... I'm stunned that Rooster's General wasn't considered at all. I thought it was going to be one of Rockstar's biggest competition.

I'm really surpised that Daz's entry hardly got a mention. I had definately picked him for top 5.

While I liked Mr Kite's character more than Rockstar's, the excecution and detail of the latter (aside from also being an extremely cool character) would have made it my top pick as well. Without a doubt the most impressive piece of gameart I've ever seen.

But overall an awesome effort from all, it's the best contest we've had here.
