I quit smoking back in March, though I still smoke on the rare occaisions that we go out drinking. This here would be great. You get all of the calming qualities of nicotine, but nothing nasty from the smoke or additives. Yay, no arsenic or cadmium
I quit smoking about 3 years ago, and yes, I'll admit, even though I try to play it off like I don't, but I do miss the relaxation smoking would bring, and am constantly tempted to light one up if they're available. Though it's really not worth it with cigarettes. With this though? I don't know.

I doubt it, as they say it doesn't contain any tobacco. If you're allergic to nicotine specifically, then it's a different story though. It seems like a good idea, if it wasn't so annoying to use. I for one would applaud the lack of smoke in pubs, concerts and most importantly: restaurants. The fact that smoking is allowed in restaurants sort of eludes me, to be honest. Some people don't smoke when people are eating around them, aned i respect those people: i'm not a vehement anti-smoking nut by any means, i just like it when people actually consider that others might not enjoy the bother it gives them.

I can see your complaint about pubs though. Most bars allow smoking because their clients smoke. I know a lot of bars lost serious money in California, when they made it illegeal to smoke indoors.
Here in Reno though (due to casinos), you can smoke everywhere indoors (unless specified). There's no way it will change here, either, since the casinos would lose millions.

Not in Germany and from the sounds of it not in Belgium, either. The restaurants are filled with tables, there is no gap between smoker and non-smoker sections and most restaurants don't even have non-smoking areas.

And it's not as if a diner is big enough for a nonsmoking section to really have any use either. And please don't think i'm a nonsmoking zealot either, i just think it shows a serious lack of respect to smoke right next to someone who's eating.
our trains even had smoking sections right next to nonsmoking, seperated by nothing, which was utterly useless.
Luckily our trains are smokefree now though, even though that does mean the toilets are in use more often, heh.
