Hey all,
Had the day off so decided to see how much i can get done on a fun enviroment. It is to xbox/ps2 specs, The reflection is hacked the old way (mirrored vertically with a alphaed plane between) so with reflection its 9806 polys and without its 4996.

You can usually knock a whole bunch of the polygons out of the reflection geo - the further from the mirror point, the more polygons can get stripped.

It might be nice to build some alpha light cubes streaming in those windows, then you can run a particle emitter to create some dust motes.

Rick thanks for the tips, I was to lazy to optimize the reflection, it was more for fun then anything else. I thought about the streams, didnt know if it would take too much away from the scene so i didnt do it, and was lazy. If i ever open it up agia i will add them, thanks!

Looks like something out of the alcatraz level in Rainbow Six 3, which is a very,very good thing.

looks very sexy. I'd make the windows a bit dirtier though. Old windows with steel in front of them sometimes have rust stains and so on.besides, if the light comes from the outside, it would make the lighting really cool!

mit great Idea, I did not however even think of anything was behing the bars, windows make sense though.
