hmmm dont knot about this yet.. could be neat, could suck.. probably see it to make sure.. some of the animation looks real nice and polished.. while other times its all herky jerky and super stiff.. and i would be willing to bet all the crappy stuff was mocap...

    A lot of the mocap annoyed me... Facial animation was also pretty weak in my opinion.

    HOWEVER, I loved the style and it looks like it'll be funny, so we'll see.

    Love the concept, but the art looks like it's half mo-cap, half game quality animation. At times that thing looked almost real-time quality, or like a film short you would see on CG Talk.

    The movie looks like it could be good, the house concept is neat judging by the trailer. When I first saw the fat kid and the old house... it reminded me of that one scene in "The Goonies" when Chunk first goes up to the creepy house that the Fratelli gang was using as a hideout.
    Anyway, I think they should release this around Halloweeen instead of "Summer 2006".

    I don't know if it's because of this thread or if I would of noticed it anyway.... the trees, they look like someone googled a tree tutorial and whipped them up in 15 minutes.

    I saw a trailer for this last night, it looks absolutely nasty. Bad mocap with bad facial animation. It looked like they were trying really hard to ape the visual style of The Incredibles (not to mention the main character is played by Dash) and failing horribly.
