New games not exciting you?

I'm not one to usually post a fanboy post like this but.. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars certainly sounds like an appealing game. I loved Enemy Territory by Splash Damage, and most of the art team at my work played it each lunch last year. I hope the Splash damage team can build on the success of the first game and I'm looking forward to the one.

Sounds great. I am desperately in need of a new multiplayer shooter. Played out ET after about a year, now it's been COD, but that's getting old. Being such a huge Team Fortress Classic and ET fan, this sounds fantastic.

I think Enemy Territory is Splash Damage's term for class-based shooter gameplay, kind of like ****Fortress. If you look through the article, it appears that the game is a Quake game, and the engine/technology is totally new. And this one seems to have nothing to do with WW2/Wolfenstein content.

If they're announcing it like this, and spending a bunch of money on PR at E3, there isn't a chance that it'll be free. I've heard that the only reason the original ET was free is that it was unfinished, as the Splash Damage team got yanked off of the project to help with Q4 and other Id projects.

O... M... F... G... Sony had me at "Hello" with this sucker. I love the fact that it comes in different colors. Black for me, baby! Backward compatibility with BOTH previous versions? DAMN!! And here I was, all about to buy one of the new slimmies! Perhaps I'll save up just a little longer.

Although... 160 GB hard drive? That's gotta be a typo. And, yeah, that controller is FUGLY, but I love the fact that it's bluetooth. Let's hope a third party comes up with something better.

After the 360 and the PS3, I'm reeeeal close to writing off Nintendo altogether.

perfect graphics but totally sucky "new" idea around it....ET was WW2 and should've stayed in that time. If we wanted aliens, nobody would've played ET.

Call of Duty2 I still play the frist one off and on I know just about everyone but me is burned out on the WW2 genre but I see enough good things in the screen shots and movies to get me excited for #2.

Very cool work (though did someone forget to fix up the chopper blades?) I'm really looking forward to this game. Hope it can continue the high quality gameplay established by ET. I'll be interested to see how they handle the vehicle integration.
