Why mimick something when the original does it just fine? I can think of one good reason.... $$$$$
Hell if he knew it was going to be cg, he could have gone and done something different like mixing pixar like rendering with some of the principles of claymation.

Thats not claymation, The Corpse Bride is full CG deigned to look like stop motion, Nightmare Before Christmas style. Looks like its going to be a damn good one too.

afraid that is wrong brother. read in an interview with burton that its claymation, said they were trying to work around problems they were having because all the cast is human characters and not monsters that can move weird.
