And here with a quick pilot bash 'n' sketch to help with scale while working on designs and details. Was especially helpful to see how big the car to the right should be to sell the bot's scale. Will have to make the left one much bigger as well hehe
Hmm the man seems a bit big compared to the car behind him... like I can't imagine him fitting in behind that steering wheel.
Also I'm not sure if I understand how the legs work on the mech. How does the foot rotate with all those large struts in the way? And do the hips have enough room to rotate left/right as it runs?
What's the long cord coming out of its back... is that attached to something like a remote power wire or something? If it's a whip tail, then it could make sense to show the free end instead of hidden behind the junk on the left.

Uhh you're totally right, I realize that now too hahah Car needs to be bigger still.

Yeah that's something I make up as I go, but seems now would be a good time to actually think about it's workings.

Jup, it should be a cord for powering and controlling the bot. It would be coming from a separate vehicle, where the pilot is. I'm thinking of removing the wreck to the left and showing the vehicle in the distance? I want to make it clear, that it's not autonomous and not a suit.
Composition wise, the car and the pilot’s vehicle should probably be reduced in contrast, so the running mech becomes more the focus.
It could be helpful to indicate how the tether is spooled out from the vehicle, maybe a spinning drum with coil? Either in the vehicle, or on the back of the mech?
Oh of course, I'd make sure to reduce the value range in relation to distance and focus accordingly. But thanks for reminding, especially in regards of the near car wreck!
And good point as well. Personally more drawn towards it spooling from the vehicle, to reduce bulk and weight on the robot itself.

I love where this is headed tho, cool visuals.

Real happy you like the visuals already ^-^
And with Pilot for scale:
