Hi everyone!
I'm Slaven, and this is my first post here. I'm in the process of learning environment art, including master material creation, modularity, RGB layering, and so on. This started as a few people's project, but as people stopped working on it or dropped out, we ended up with a blockout based on a real-life image of a Dispatch office in the Pacific Northwest in the 1970s.

I'm generally a sucker for this type of look. Many find it boring and plain, but I love these colors and the moody feel. I finished a couple of models while everything else is still in a blockout phase. This is the current state of the project:

I played a bit with light, colored props are ones that are fully completed and are good for texturing. Now I'm wondering, should I expand this? Make it a full room? I've been told by an amazing artist and friend who recommended me here, Peter Gathev, that I should increase polycount on edges and texture big props using layered RGB materials. I'd really like to complete this environment, and even more, I'd appreciate all feedback and help here! I didn't do much around, and I'm kinda blocked on what I should do around. I consider myself an amazing prop artist, but I never did environment art before, so here we are! This is approximate size of a room:

Any kind of feedback and help is more than welcome!

1. Focus on making the room layout logical and believalble
2. Add human scale reference. Add FPS or 3d person character blueprint to walk around an test the space
3. Make sure the storytelling and props are consistent. Cables, seperation between floor and walls. cealling. lamps, wall sockets, door,
