Hello! I'm starting a new piece for my portfolio, an Au Ra (part human, part reptile/dragon) from FFXIV. My primary goals are to learn to make game-ready eyes with illusion of depth using a height map, and to get more practice laying down hair cards and capturing likeness.
I'm currently still working on the sculpt before I move to Blender to make the hair cards and retopologize. He will be rigged to match the position of the original artwork after textures, and I'm planning to render him in Unreal Engine. I'd appreciate any feedback on him, especially his likeness!
