Just wrapped up a new personal project where I experimented with bringing a more painterly style to my 3D characters. Full project at my Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RKrZGr Based on painting found on pinterest: https://pin.it/4SF161oem Thanks for looking! I am happy to hear crits/feedback.
That's cool and interesting technically, but stating that it is "based on a painting found on pinterest" isn't giving proper credit to the original artist that you used the work of. Please let us know more as to not invisibilize them.
@pior I have tried to find the author of the painting, but could not find any info. That is why I wrote it in that way and provided link to it. It might very well be AI painting. If someone knows the author I am happy to credit them. I always credit original artists any time I can, as you can check from my previous posts in Artstation
Yeah that's what I suspect too. I did several reverse image searches before I started this with no results. I wanted to find a rough looking painting to use as a reference for this modeling practice. I am not big fan of AI, but that was closest to the kind I had in mind at the time. Point of this was to test this style and get my feet wet in it to maybe do more tests in future.
