Hello everybody,
I'm experiencing an issue when I export displacement maps from zbrush.
It seems that the software can't catch deepest details.
Let me show you some images to be more clear:

This is a close-up of the high poly in zbrush, but when I link the map in maya and try to render with arnold, what I get is this:

As you can see the wrinkles are not deep enough.
I've checked the exported maps and it seem that the cause is zbrush itself, look at this picture:

As you can see zbrush can't catch the deepest details and it result in smoother wrinkles and less details.
Here my export settings:

Before you tell me, I've already tried with 0.5 mid value, I tried to relax UV, to work on the mesh with an higher subdivision level (to make the geometry follow the wrinkles), change resolution and to turn on the adaptive. The result is always the same.
Can you tell me why this happens?
Is it a software limitation or am I doing something wrong?
Is there a better software to get more precise maps? (maybe mudbox?)
