[WIP] Blastoise for 3D printing - advice needed

I'm struggling to work out the best way to refine the water effects on the base after blocking them out. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I'd maybe consider making the water more of a jet/pillar than an explosion looking effect. Maybe add some sphere bubbles in a few places, and small strings spinning around the pillars?
