[WIP] Game character for space horror game.

Hey, I'm creating a game in UE5 for myself in the evenings. An action horror in the future. I'm currently working on mounting weapons on the heroine's body. Anyone know of a good tutorial on how to embrace weapon straps by simulation?

    No no, I don't have a problem with attaching items and BPs. I want to make the belt holding the weapon in some realistic way. I don't know whether to start with physics simulation in UE or with animation on the bones in blender. I am looking for a solution that will give nice effects.

    well the strap probably wouldn't be holding the gun. The gun would be attached to the character with gravity and collision, then you'll want it to interact with the character's collision, probably a custom one specifically for item attachments. The strap would just be visual, with cloth physics.
