how would I model the spaces for these 4 buttons?

I'm modelling a switch and I need to model the part where the 4 buttons are going to be. Basically, 4 equal sized equally spaced round 'divots'. However I have no idea how to rearrange/cut the topology where these buttons are going to be. how should I proceed?

this is how i would do it with your current "topology"

1. your basic topology of where your buttons are

2. i would add 8 segments of cylinders on top to match where the "buttons" are
3. boolean
4. clean
5. done
