(FINISHED) Krest (Metro Exodus FanArt) RT

New Character. I'M PUMPED.
This time I'm taking a crack at one of the concept from metro exodus game. I'm really trying to improve my art so here we go. Clothes always been challenging to me so I'm going to spending lot of time in marvelous with this character.

Starting right away with the head. I would love to have critiques on this. (I'll collect reference after I nail the anatomy and proportions of the head)

I tried to sculpt the head in neutral pose since he got smirk and slight eyebrow raise. Focal length is set to 35 in Zbrush.

Looks really good to me, the scar is on the other eyebrow, but that really doesn't matter. Love the wrinkles on the neck. I would make his upper eyelids thicker/heavier, but that's just me. Going to follow for more.

Reference board

hi-poly model done , took a really long time for this one but here it is, I have decided to skip the bag and to replace it with eagle patch on his leather jacket in texturing process.

cool progress. I feel like you could take the face a little further tho. I feel like his eyes might be too small, what did you use for reference? and maybe more saggy secondary forms? he´s wrinkly but his skin still feels tight like on a younger person

thanks for the feedback @JohannesAg. For the reference I used the face from the concept and model from game itself, tried to copy similar features and wrinkles from the game model.

And you were right the eyes seemed too small for his face, made more saggy secondary forms to make him to seem more older.
Also as @tysiu pointed out , made his upper eyelid a bit thicker.

Great progress. I'd probably make his face a bit more brutal. Bigger mouth, more square tip of the nose and chin. And I feel like the head will lose even more of the big shapes after the bake.

I would drag the opacity on the cavity color down a bit, the color difference in his wrinkles is too much for me. Make sure to give him some decent eyes as well. You could give him some more edgeloops for the face as well, I see more jagged lines than I would expect for a current gen portfolio piece.

The model turns out great. The only issue - his face looks 15 years younger than the original. I think he should have a rougher skin, darker eyeballs. Less pink and healthy.

impressive quality so far, I agree that the face/skin could do with some tweaking. Also Im not sure what can be done about this but his fingers appear to be a little too thin to me, I would expect a character like this to have large rough hands. The clothes etc look great!
