[Blender] Is there a way to save a meta-rig pose for future reference?

I have a base mesh that I use for all of my characters in the same pose, and I hate having to add a new metarig to the scene and spending like half an hour reposing it, especially the fingers. Is there a way to save the metarig pose for future reference?
