Reparenting joint adds extra transform node

When I reparent a joint, an extra "transform1" node is added above it. How I can fix this?

You probably have scale values other than 1 on Hand_L. You can freeze only the scale on it, by right clicking in the channel box, after that you should be good to parent your weapon joint again.
