Stitches Orientations Question

Hello good people,

I am a beginner in Substance Designer and of course, I hit the wall in my first tries to make some materials. My question is: How can I orient stitches like in this image? They are perpendicular to the cuts. I assume that I need to make this with a tile sampler and a vector mask, but I can't manage to solve the problem. I know, this is not very complicated, It seems simple at the first look. Please help! Thank you!

it's better to use shape splatter imo. it's more up to date working in unrestricted floating point math allowing extra helpful outputs. Tile sampler is an inheritance from older versions.

And you are right about vector input
