Xgen to 3dmax

anybody has a solution?
i have exported as an alembic and it works perfectly with 3dmax and render with vray
one problem here is i can not change the root and the tip of hair individually
any better idea?

i use xgen and export as an alembic and then import the alembic file using vray proxy
i vray hair proxy thats only one option(general hair thickness)i want change root and tip individually
