Maya 2018 Hair Shader Setup

I am trying to learn how to do real time hair following the Adam Skutt tutorial. Only issue is that I cant preview the hair in Maya. He uses an outdated shader called "alhair shader". Basically the only issue I have is that I cant setup the opacity mask that I created because none of the Maya materials have an input for an opacity mask from the PNG file I have. Any help will be apprecaited!

Thanks for the reply, but I dont see an opacity map option. I have Maya 2018 so I can't use the old aihair shader from the Adam Skutt tutorial
