This is terrible advice. Especially the bit about showering and wearing deodorant. If you want to fit in you should refrain from showering for about a month and slather yourself in rotten chicken fat.

Also, please avoid the Tenderloin neighborhood as much as can during the evenings, especially if you're alone.

We've had devs mugged there before.
