Rails and the likes

Hey peeps,
I recently got the idea of doing some weapons and thought that it would be a good idea to start off easy. And by that i mean do the most common thing on any modern gun: the rail.
I will be making a pack of different universal rails and also some gun specific ones. Later on i will be doing some full RIS (a.k.a. full handguard rail) for different platforms (m4, ak, m14, etc.) and even some attachments (sights, scope mounts, etc.). Modelled to accurate dimensions (where available

Oh, and i will do one every day just to put some pressure on myself.
So lets start with the one i did yesterday. Its a G36c front side rail:
Just rendered in max with vray, basic material applied for now.
I haven't decided if i want to go mid-poly with tile-able textures or low poly with baked textures.
