So I am going to buy a new comp soon. I am not very savvy with all these tech stuffs. But I want to be able to sculpt at 100 million points in ZBrush.

Should i be focusing on getting a comp with good RAM, like how much is considered good? Or should I focus on the processor? CPU? Or graphic cards? Please give me some tips guys. the most important thing is i want to be able to sculpt with a lot of points without lagging.

Stay with your old computer and use more subtools.
Use the money for beer. :d

Zbrush does use the GPU only on some new features.
Its CPU only during sculpting. So go for the fastest 8Core CPU you can find.

I think currently the best one is 12core amd ryzen 9 3900x.   I mean before amount of cores starts to slow it down  for mostly single core ZB sculpting and in general a good balance in-beenween single core and milticore speed.   You still need to render something and bake textures usually

get a good ryzen CPU + get all the RAM you can get if you want to get heavy with your individual subtools. 32gb or preferrably more if you want to run google chrome too lol
