For some odd reason, the model's overlapping UV's are spread out across the UV editor, and in the 3D View, only the thighs down to the calves are textured. The rest is flat grey.

How do I fix this, exactly? Google was no help, and I can't even adjust the UV's manually for some odd reason. Clicking on them no matter the selected tool won't allow me to drag them.

where was this model from originally? if it is from maya. you should bring it back and and bring all the uvs back into 0-1 space. Also make sure you have Paint on Overlapping UVs turned on under Windows> Preferences> Paint > Paint on Overlapping UVs.

This model came from 3DS Max. All the UV segments are constrained to a single tile before export, but for some reason they get thrown way to the right after sending the model to Mudbox.
