I like him, but I think I'd like it better if the background was more traditional (bamboo) and his eyes were smaller. Quick and dirty Photoshop jobby.

Woow!! @pixelpatron I like it, it changes dramatically, but the aim of this project was to get as close as possible to the concept, I tried to do a pixel to pixel render of the concept art.

Why not do both? I would say try to make something of your own of it. But also keep the render that is faithful to the concept.
