In the past few weeks I completed my first fully realized real-time character, a realistic horse model, and decided to share! I would highly appreciate to receive some honest feedback and constructive criticismn, 3D art ist still a learning experience for me so don't be afraid to hit me with the truth, I can take it! Looking to implement any feedback and suggestions in my upcoming projects.

Rendered in marmoset, 40k tris

I like the forms, but without any context/background it's hard to tell if your texture is a conscious style decision or simply unfinished (looks like a bit like lots of projections which haven't been cleaned up properly in some renders).

Thank you for taking the time @Noren
You have a fair point there! The textures are based on a groom bake and are PBR-based / handpainted, so I can conclude that my texturing work still needs some refining, additionally a clear artstyle goal.
    Best regards!
