Best Vray node based 3D App

I see that Vray works best when used with a node based type system like 3DS Max has. Other than 3DS Max, who has the best node system that works with Vray?

Maya? Modo? C4D?

Maya's Hypergraph has been node-based since time began. Modo uses a layer-based material system. C4D I know nothing about.

Are you talking about the material creation or a node based in general.?
If thats the case there is only Houdini.

@musashidanC4D has a new node system since it’s latest release (R20).
Modo also uses nodes for materials since 2014 (801) release.
@oglu I’m only looking for node based just for materials.

Just wanted to see what people using Vray without 3Ds Max opinion is.

I want ant to buy vray but I can’t use 3Ds Max.

I'd never seen that in Modo. Thought it was still a layer tree system.

I've only ever used Vray in Max and Maya, but I don't see why c4d and modo wouldn't use their node systems with Vray.

@oglu no issue with Max. It’s just not what I want to use. Vray is biased and faster especially with a large amount of lights. Also can use GPU
