Dragon Head

Hello guys new update of the personal project of the "Dragon Head", made High-Poly(WIP) and test version of the color for the future stage of texturing. What do you think about it?

Nice work man! I'm no expert on dragonology. For what it's worth, it seems to me the spikes/protruding-scales on the back of the neck are way too orderly and sharp. So, they look very cg.

great work so far! I agree with the comment above. Right now the entire back looks super CG and not organic. Next time you sit down, I would start by taking all the scales and start sculpting on them, make them unique, give them some wear and tear. It will really help bring them to life. Def looking forward to seeing where you take this!

Dragon Head High-Poly (WIP)

Looks nice man. Did you follow a tutorial for those blurred dust particles in your renders? I see a lot of people using them and I'm trying to get a consensus of the best way to do it.

It is not fluids or particles. It is compositing.

There is a way of projecting them onto geometry and rendering with transparency. Like a image on plane.

Those details are gorgeous, @artyom_belial! Really clean organic shapes too. Are you still texturing the head later on? I'm a big fan of that original color palette so it'd be great to see that on the updated head. Crazy good work, dude!
