Hey guys, I've been working on this head for a little while for the challenge over at eat3d. I'd really love some critiques and possibly any advice in mech suit design. Here's the head and a quick paint over for a suit design (And yes, that will be panda face paint.)

Here's my first next-gen game ready model I've ever done. I finished this in November of 2010 and just now I've gotten permission to post it. I know there are a LOT of errors and proportional issues, etc. but I've learned a lot from making this model.

On a serious note though, she would greatly benefit from a total but subtle dirt/grunge pass on the diffuse and carry that over to the spec map as well. You have a lot of flat color going on in your diffuse at the moment which makes it look way too clean for a soldier type character. The color and the specular would benefit from a stronger contrast between the different materials (straps, clothing, kevlar, etc.). Your normal map could use texture overlay as well.
In respects to the anatomy its not bad, the general proportions are laid out fairly well. However the arms need work, they are basically just tubes right now. Shouldn't take you to long to sculpt some muscle definition in there. The ass could use some more lovin too, it looks good without the pants on but I'd exaggerate it a bit more to get a nice curve going in the silhouette. This should help identify the character as female.

Here's a little update on her. No love in the ears yet, anyone have some sweet ear ref? Suggestions, critiques, anything welcome.

Regarding your swat girl, top notch work, but the M4 rifle is way too big. Her hand should be able to cover the handle..
Yea, the guy who skinned/rigged the characters made the gun a bit too big (in ref to the non-textured gun img). I sized it down a lot for the final renders, that was the best I could do with the placement of the hands -_-;
Also, I'm aware of the unnecessarily large diffuse map. Cheers! :]
Anyway, here's my latest thing from League of Legends. I wish I had more time to push the texture, but she had to be done a week ahead of schedule. Still hope you guys enjoy it.
