[Maya] Tool Popup gone

Does anyone know how to get the tools pop up editor back. It seems to have vanished from my Maya 2017. It's most frustrating!
I've been having a hunt around on Google but i'm not actually sure what its called. I'm hoping its an option / short cut rather then a reset maya preferences situation.
