3dmax orientation problem

hi, i want orient this object from this pivot to global pvot but i can't, i could but i forget. can somebody help me. tnx

i am not sure to explain good in english. i want left object rotated and droped on the strait face of right object.

For the object you want to move; snap its pivot to its face you want aligned to the other object. Then on the top menu bar click on "Select and Place" button and drag the object to the surface of the other object.

One max script I could not live without is 3-point align.

I highly recommend the script to any max users out there. You can set it to your quad menu, super easy and quick may to move geo in specific relation to angles of other geo.

Select & Place is better & faster, plus it has Auto-link, Rotate mode, etc, all hotkeyable. Worth a look!
